He dismantled two porches - from the front and side of my stone house, built in 1830, and constructed a new wrap around verandah. Joe does excellent work. He is a great communicator, honest, straightforward, and a pleasure to have to do the work we needed done. He was always on time, on budget, no surprises, and very friendly. We needed a deck for our above-ground pool. The new deck was built beside the existing deck. Joe matched the materials that were already there, and the new deck is seamless addition to the existing deck.

"I found JEVES Construction through community recommendations and am so glad I did. Joe was by far the most knowledgeable, creative, skilled and professional person I contacted. On top of that, his prices were more reasonable.
The job was deceptively complicated- build a platform around a firepit along the rocky shore that had previously rotted because of rising water levels and water running down a hill. Then, replace a large rotted deck that extended to a floating dock with multiple small platforms. Water levels can rise and lower significantly and there are challenging rocks everywhere. Joe did some excellent problem solving and planning- he built one, continuous platform that extends all the way to the end of the floating portion. Instead of doing an easier and lower-quality solution, he raised it on sturdy, small metal poles so we can raise and lower it all depending on the water levels. And instead of just building on the old structure, he identified that a slightly different alignment would be more functional, added more space and he was right on. Everything is impeccably finished, built to last and thoughtfully done.
Joe was extremely responsive and a joy to work with. There were no surprises with the costs. My family hopes to work with Joe in the future on other projects when he's available. Highly recommend, five stars."
